For dinner we dined on jack-o-lantern brains, fried worms, and eyeballs. Mmmm!

Robby and Megan devoured the brains; I think they are part zombie.
Then it was time to get cleaned up and dressed up (yet again!). I let Megan do her own princess make-up, and as a result she looks more like a victim of domestic violence than a fairy tale princess... but still as cute as ever! Robby looks like a victim of violence too, come to think of it... but that's just because he keeps hitting his head on things. Physician, heal thyself!
After Daddy took them trick-or-treating, they got to partake of the goods. We only had 8 people come by our house, because we are tucked way back in the cul-de-sac, and you can't see our house... and we were the only ones on the street with our lights on, so it was just passed over. Oh well, more for Mike and me!
Then those babies got bathed up and de-stickified. Megan has been into hot cocoa the last few nights (reminiscent of cleveland when she had hot cocoa almost every night!)... she always asks me if it is going to be chilly so she can have some.
We got the babies to bed, and they were tired enough that it didn't take long for their room to fall silent. Mike had to work in the morning so got to bed early... and we all enjoyed that extra hour of sleep!
