For Robby's birthday, we tried to have a playgroup, but everybody except Eva was out sick (or wanted to avoid it)... all with different illnesses, too! So Lori and Eva came over to play, and Lori gave me the great idea of going to McDonalds to let the kids eat lunch and play. So we headed to a McDonalds that had a little kid toy, and brought some cupcakes in tow. It was just perfect!
Mike is on surgery now, and would have been at the hospital until 7, but he fanagled to get out and home by 6 so Robby could have his birthday festivities! Robby opened up his presents and had a little cake. He went nuts for all the cars and trucks and things he got... and Megan went nuts for his new little trike. He can't actually reach the pedals (which we didn't realize before we got it... oops!) but she sure can and she loves it! So she rides his trike, and he rides on her princess bike with our help. And everyone is happy!

Meg drew Robby a "Happy Birthday" sign, sounding it out for herself. Robby drew over it, which quite upset her.

I didn't get a "before" presents picture, but here's the after! We tried to get him to come to the table for dinner, and he kicked and screamed so much we relented and decided to just this once let him play with his toys while we ate.
