Not the movie itself... actually, it's the box that scares her. The back of the box, specifically the bottom picture:
I don't get it either. She has always had this fixation on hippos, and that they are "scary," but her fear of them is really more contrived than anything else. Everytime she is in the office where we keep the movies, she says, "don't show me the back of Meet the Orchestra." If Robby comes in while she's in there, she begins yelling and screaming, "He wants to show me the back of Meet the Orchestra!!!"Well yesterday, she was being a super pill in the evening. Way over reacting to everything that anyone said, freaking out at the slightest provocation. So, I decided to tease her a little more since she was already on such a big one. While she was in the bathroom, I placed the DVD box on her pillow. Here's what happened. Before you view, I'm sure Mike would like me to point out that he was not a party to the prank.
I must admit, she reacted WAY more strongly than I thought she would. I thought she would give a little "aaah!" and run out of the room and hide in my bed or something. I think my favorite part is the incomprehensible babble as she is trying to tell me what was wrong.
I know, I'm so mean.

I remember getting in big time trouble with my granddaughters mother when I tried to pull a prank similar to that!!! Your not mean, you evil. But I love you all.
... so what you're saying is I should return the big scary hippo christmas present?
