A fixtures tour of our new house

So, things aren't quite "together" enough for me to want to take pictures and share our new house with the public, but I thought I would share some of the special features of our home. The previous owners were serious ceiling fan connoisseurs, and also installed some fun light fixtures as well. So, without further ado... bring on the fixtures!

This first one is in the living room, and exemplifies the house. Lone Stars, everywhere!
Speaking of Lone Stars, I really like this pendant light that hangs above the stairway.
There is a definite lodgy-feel to the house... this is a light in the hallway outside the master bedroom. And I swear, in real life, it doesn't look this creepy.

This is the fan that is currently in Mike's office, but we will be switching it into Robby's room. Pretty perfect for a little boy, eh?

There are two of these fans in the family room. The flash makes it look a little funny, but there are leathery looking accents around the base of the fan, and the metal accents are meant to be like antlers or something.

This is the fan in Megan's room... I love the little shades on it! I think it might be my favorite.

Below we have a car fan, but we brought this one with us from El Paso.
The kids started going nuts when I pulled out the camera. It has been a long time since I took pictures with any degree of regularity. To put it in perspective, I have uploaded every picture onto the blog that I have taken in the last 4 months. Yeah.
Megan wanted me to get a picture of her Jessie doll saying "cheese."

In the late afternoon, the kids love to to catch the rainbows that come in through the front door.

That ends my show case of the ceiling fans! I should also take some pictures of the light switch plates, they deserve a whole post of their own!
