Megan had her very first sleep over party last weekend! She's just been dying to have friends spend the night. I mentioned it to Mike, but I had just assumed that he wouldn't be for it. So I was surprised when he was like, "well, why not Friday night?" So we had our favorite Hunts over for games and s'mores round the campfire, and then the two closest to Megan's age would stay the night. Well, mother nature foiled us on the campfire front, but we had stovetop s'mores and hot fudge pudding cake instead. It was a very fun night! We even had a last minute addition when a friend of ours had an emergency that required her taking 2 of her 3 young children to the ER. Since the average ER visit at Beaumont is 8 hours (that's my perception, anyway), our extra little friend spent the night, too.
Playing on the air mattress before the parents departed.

Robby so wanted to sleep out with the girls, so we let him watch the movie with them. The tears that were shed when we put him in his crib were truly pitiful!

Mike was on-call Saturday, so he was gone when we got up. But that didn't stop us from a yummy breakfast of mixed-berry pancakes with Nutella and cool-whip! Mmmm.... SO GOOD.

I get kind of grossed out when I see play-doh around food, but I was more focused on getting food served than cleaning up the table! (*heave!*)

It was a fun and successful sleep-over! There were no tears or middle of the night pee-mergencies, or anything! Definitely something we are willing to do again.
