We've reached our half-way point here, and until now I haven't really thought much about or been really anticipating our move to San Antonio. I've just been very contented here, and have settled down so quickly and easily. Then the military match day came, and we learned that yet another one of our good play-group friends also matched to the BAMC anesthesia program, so that makes three of our families all moving out there together this year... that made me think a lot more about it, and I am beginning to get pumped! Then Christmas came, and a tree-load of new toys is making me pretty excited about moving again to a bigger house (all the work paid for and done by the military. Love it!). We are going out there in April (just Mike and me while Nana and the babies have a fiesta back here without us!) to do some house hunting, hopefully to buy. That is still up in the air, largely because we still need to find out how much our med school debt will hurt our chances of actually getting financed. If we can only rent, that would be fine, too... but Mike and I are both just really ready to be in charge of our own place-- if repairs are needed, we can just do them without asking permission and waiting more than a month to find out if that door on the third bedroom that is only hanging by one hinge is ever actually going to get fixed... Ooh, sorry. Hmm, sore spot right now!
Well, as you can probably tell there is not much real purpose to this post except to just get me blogging again. For your trouble of reading this far, you've earned a picture! Good for you! Aw, what the heck. You've been extra good-- here's two!
These are some of my favorite presents we got for the kids for Christmas... I'm not going to lie, I'm very proud of myself for all the awesome things they got. Mostly I got them things that I wanted to play with, too... and it worked out! Above we have Megan's bedtent, which is just what it looks and sounds like. The bottom of the dome tent is a fitted sheet that stays right cozy on her bed! Below that we have their new reading & movie watching chairs. I just LOVE Robby's. It is so handsome. I feel like he needs a little bubble pipe and a robe while he's sitting in it.
Mike is working night float this week, this is night 6 of 7... almost done! I've been itching to watch Foyle's War all night long, but I made a promise to myself that I would finally blog again, first. Next time I'm sure it will be less rambling, but without pictures to add you are stuck with what's going on in my adult-interaction deprived mind. Scary, hmmm? Okay. Time to get my Foyle on. (If you don't know Foyle's War, allow me to convert you. Sign up with Netflix or Blockbuster TODAY and begin the journey. You will thank me later.)

I love reading your ramblings they make me giggle. They're creative ramblings. Like it actually took time to ramble in a fun creative way. Mine just sound like I'm half asleep and really just don't have any idea whats going on in my head. kinda like right now
