Here's a little product placement around the Norton house.

The picture of Robby kind of illustrates (in my mind, anyhow) a part of his personality that really strikes me. That boy is just imaginative! Not only that, he gets these ideas, then he executes them. Megan has never really been that way... she is more like a xerox machine. Her forte is not in original ideas. She sees something, and she copies it. Exactly. Verbatim. Every last detail. In that way, she's like her Daddy (is she really like him, or is she just copying him? But to copy him, she must be like him. Ooh, a paradox!). This afternoon she was concerned that it might be cloudy outside, and that she wouldn't be able to see butterflies. I asked her why she was worried, and she said to me, "Butterflies are most often found on warm, sunny days!" That exact line is found in a book she has about butterflies.
Anyway, with the Cheerios... One of the kids had dumped out the contents of that tub, so it was sitting there empty. Then, Megan got dressed in her jammies and I said to her, "Hey! We should take a picture of you posing with the Cheerios box like you are twins!" Then I hear Robby say something about, "I put da cheerios in dere!!" And he jets out of the room. When we all met up in the living room for our evening scripture, there he was with the chocolate cheerios, eating them like from a trough. He surprises me everyday with the little things he just thinks to do!
