For Megan's family birthday party, she got to have a virtual-party... that is, we video chatted with her Nana & Papa while she opened her presents, and then we did the same with Grandma and Uncle Kyle for blowing out the candles on her wishbear cake. She had been asking ALLLL day long to eat her special cake. Then when it was finally time, she peeled off the frosting and left it mostly untouched. (On a side note, her wishbear cake pan finally came in the mail yesterday... they didn't even mail it until Oct 1, so it had no chance of arriving for her birthday (9-30). Looks like we'll be having a random wishbear cake party sometime soon.)

The pile of presents-- the moment Mike walked in the door from the hospital, she said "now we can open PRESENTS!! And ran and grabbed one from the pile.
Opening her dollhouse-- note the lack of surprise on her face. She totally saw it in our closet like, everyday for the last few weeks. She would even ask to play with the dollhouse and I would just say, "oh, but you don't have a dollhouse... too bad!" and she'd say, "but I DO have a dollhouse!"
