I hosted our preschool Valentine's Day party today, and it was so much fun! I always LOVED Valentine's Day when I was little-- I seriously still remember like every one of my elementary school v-day parties. So I wanted to make it memorable for the kiddies, and I may have went a little overboard. Oh, well! I'm not sorry. :-)
All the little love-bugs having a "love"ly snack
Snack-time again from a different angle
The snacks were little cupcakes and heart shaped jell-o jigglers
We decorated mail box sacks for them to deliver valentine's to each other, and we also made "cupid wands" to spread love all around! We played Heart, Heart, Valentine (like Duck, Duck, Goose) using the heart wand to tag each other.
We also decorated sugar cookies with icing and candies.
We had a bean-bag toss game where they tried to land the hearts on the target, and the got a little candy if they made it.
I decorated our party room with streamers and all.
