As Robby is learning more English words, he is also coming up with more of his own Robinese "words." My personal favorite is "goo-goo." A Goo-goo is any beverage. When he is thirsty he starts whining "goo-goo" and I know what he wants! How convenient! And the best part about goo-goo is that Megan has picked up on it, too, and she uses it in conversation. "Robby dropped his goo-goo, Mommy!" or, "Robby! Don't throw your goo-goo!"
Well, Robby reached a goo-goo milestone recently, which was drinking from straws (and more importantly, being a good enough boy with them that he can be trusted to do so). So for the first time today I let him try a capri sun, and he did great! It was so cute and grown-up looking, too! And of course, Megan kept reminding him, "don't squeeze your goo-goo, Robby!"
