There's a whole lotta caring going on round here
When we make Megan's bed, we always arrange whatever stuffed animals are the creme du jour on the pillows, and the rest are relegated to the stuffed animal bin. For the last several months, the stuffed animal royalty has been the carebears. All of them. And she sleeps with them. All of them. And she can tell you all their names, and she knows if one is missing. For example, in the picture below, Funshine bear is not visible (must be under bunny). She just now leaned over my shoulder and looked at the picture. After about 30 seconds she goes, "hey! Where's funshine?"
Megan isn't the only one who likes the carebears. Robby loves them too! Three of "Megan's" carebears actually belong to him, but he is very nice and shares custody with her. Below we see Robby having one of his supervised visits with the carebears. And Megan in the fetal position whining because he messed up how they were arranged.
Robby likes to shove the bears inbetween the wall and the bed. When he sleeps with his own bears in his bed, this is what I always find in the morning:
In one of the carebear movies, Grizzle, the evil bear, attempts to steal the carebear's bellybadges in order to stop them from caring. He built a contraption called "the caretaker" that would steal their bellybadges from them. Megan used to play this game with her carebears and shove them in weird places and call it "the caretaker." So when Robby does this with his bears we say that Robby put the carebears in the caretaker again.
