My new hobby

So, I've never been a person who does scrapbooking.  It has always seemed like an overwhelming enterprise... too many cute papers, accessories, and doo-dads to decide what to use.  And all to showcase like, 2 pictures.  So, I never got into it.  Then I randomly heard about digital scrapbooking (I don't even remember where I heard of it), so I looked it up on wikipedia when I was bored one day.  Since I can do it for free, and there is no limit to how many things I can try (so my normally indecisive self will just be able to try EVERYTHING instead of having to limit my creative juices to just one theme), I've decided to give it a go.  Just for fun, I made this page as my first attempt.  

I've decided a project I am going to work on is to make a digital scrapbook for Megan's first year... since she has no baby book, and I have printed off maybe 5 pictures of her EVER, I thought this could be a fun way to give her something to commemorate her infancy.  The cool thing is that I found out about picaboo.com which has a program you can put your scrapbook pages into a book, and they will print, bind, and mail it to you.  All in all it could end up being about the same cost as printing off my digital pictures and buying an album to put them in, only it will be way cuter! So I'm excited to have this new project to work on.  I'll start one for Robby, too, after Megan's is complete.
