A little taggie-waggie (nope, not the blankie kind)

Jaclyn tagged me-- my inaugural tag!  I must be a true-blogger now.  I feel so special!

3 Joys
-My family (extended and non-extended)
-Food.  It makes me happy.  You'd think I'd weigh more, given how happy I generally am.
-The Gospel (i.e.: my church, for all you non-mormon types).

3 Fears
-Dying and leaving behind my young children
-The telephone. I have made large strides, but generally if an item of business can be conducted NOT on the phone, I prefer it.  When I first met Mike, he gave me his number and told me to call him.  I was like, "yeah, that's not going to happen. Here's my number."
-Megan and/or Robby growing up and turning naughty in big bad ways.

3 Goals
-Finish Megan's first year baby book and start Robby's.
-Survive until Mike takes step 2 (which is in less than 12 hours, so I can probably go ahead and check that one off my list.)
-For when I get back to Cleveland: consolidate my weekly menus into a 1-time shopping list so I can just go once a week and know that I already have what we need for dinner everyday.

3 Current Obsessions
-"pieces of flair" on facebook
-Swimming with Megan and Robby
-probably what I'm doing right now... i.e. blogging

3 Random, Surprising Facts about me
-I don't like carbonated beverages.  Never have, never will.  If it fizzes, it is yucksville.
-I used to tie flies, as in for fly-fishing.  I went to a class with my dad when I was in elementary school to learn how.  I even had my own vice!
-Also from my younger days... I used to go to a "rock club" (as in rocks in the earth) that was like, this geology club for kids.  My dad got me a rock tumbler for Christmas (it makes rocks smooooooth), but 'cept I didn't know what it was.  Then I did later, and I liked it.

I tag... Korey and my Mom!

Clue me in: What does it mean to get "tagged?" I know what it means on Facebook, but not here.

Oh, by the way, it's "vise" not "vice" (I doubt you had any of those as a youngster ;) ).

Well, Kate, I have the same fear of dying and leaving my young children behind... but then, most mothers probably do. I also hate carbonation:). I don't know if I was more surprised that you went to a rock club or that the rock club was an actual geologic rock club:)

If I had known that you were in a rock club as a kid, I don't know if I would of wanted you as a roommate...actually, one of my favorite classes was a geology class at BYU. I filled out this survey a few months ago. Here's the link http://joshandkorey.blogspot.com/2008/06/ive-been-tagged.html
I didn't want you to think I totally dissed you by not filling it out!
