At first she was being... well... herself! She was very standoffish and hid her face if any one looked at her, and kept wanting me to "carry you." Luckily it was the first day of the summer semester, which I guess typically has pretty low attendance-- there were 4 kids registered, but only 2 showed up (which was good for shy Megan). But within about 5 minutes she was out of her shell and having a great time. We did activities like playing with a parachute, climbing and playing on all the gym equipment, bubbles, balls, and running, walking, jumping, and singing. She even learned to do a front tumble down the "cheese," and she walked all the way across the balance beam (which was 3 feet off the ground!) all by herself, and she didn't want any help.
In case you are wondering what became of Robby during this time (since the class is for a parent to do WITH the child), he just sat in his car carrier and watched, not making a peep, for the whole 45 minutes! Oh, and apparently something about the little gym room makes it impossible to take pictures that are in focus, so sorry they are all fuzzy-- still cute though, in my opinion!
