The Odyssey - part 4 (the last one!)

The last week of our trip was kicked off with a get-together at Nana and Papa's beach house.  My parents and Kyle, Mike, Me, and the babies, all headed out there where Mike's parents and sister Jaclyn, along with "cousin bweelind" (aka Breelynn), had already been for a day or so.  We hit some yard sales, went to a pancake breakfast, went to a clam chowder bake, spent some time at the beach, ate a lot of licorice, and played games.  I am proud to announce that I skunked everybody both times we played 10,000, and I would be happy to give anybody who wants one a rematch!  All in all it was a great weekend that was over far too quickly!  My dad brought out all his fancy schmancy camera equipment and took some very nice pictures of everybody.  Most of them are on another computer and I'm too lazy to transfer them over right now, so I'll include the few I have easy access to.
It was very fun having all 3 grandkids together, and since coming back to Cleveland, Megan talks about "my cousin bweelind" on a daily basis.  Which is funny because Breelynn isn't quite yet 3 months old, so she's not terribly interactive yet, and Megan still is obsessed with her.  I think she is just really excited that she has a cousin of her very own.
The rest of the week we spent in Portland, and it is all a blur... Jaclyn flew back to Arizona on Wednesday, Mike and I went to the temple one day, and we spent our last day going to Bonneville Dam, driving the historic highway, and visiting the Vista House with Mike's mom.  The rest I really don't remember!
We flew home Saturday, and the TSAs wouldn't let me take home my rainbow chip frosting because apparently it is a liquid.  (I didn't check it because I was dangerously close to the 50 lbs mark, and didn't want to risk going over.) I think they just wanted to steal it because it is so hard to find anymore.  But the jokes on them, because I found some at our Walmart here in Steelyard commons.  So neener neener! Jerks.
Now we are home, and it feels good.  Megan is pretty happy to be at "megan's house."  Every time we drive into our driveway, she acts amazed that we're actually at her own house.  "I'm so happy to be to Megan's house!"
I'll post my last slew of pictures in the next post, since it is just easier that way.
