The Odyssey - part 2

Once in Richland, the weather took a turn for the better.  Until then, it had just been... "meh." It was so warm and wonderful in Richland, though!  We played outside a lot.  Something we had been unable to do for MONTHS.  Megan loved to play around in the backyard-- especially she liked climbing in the tree house with Grandpa.  And one time, without Grandpa (nobody noticed she was climbing into the tree house until she as already up in it-- can you say heart attack?)! We picked up a blow-up pool from BigLots that she also liked playing in.  Another favorite activity was walking down to throw rocks in the river.
My first weekend there, Kyle had a seminary talent show wherein he and two of his homies played some of that newfangled rock music.  They were very good! And they were the hit of the entire evening when they brought up the two seminary teachers to play drums and sing vocals for a song.  There used to be a video of it floating around on YouTube... I'll have to see if I can get my mitts on it.
The next morning was a mother's day breakfast and car wash put on by my parent's ward.  So, mom and I (and kiddies) went and got some breakfast. The service was excellent, and so was the food! On our way back from that, we kept noticing helicopters flying around in the sky... and then noticed they were landing at the hospital.  When we passed by, we realized there was a health and safety expo for kids going on in the parking lot, so we decided
to stop by with Megan (Kyle hung out in the car with sleeping Robby) and poke around.  We got lots of random cool stuff like keychains, stickers, coloring books, pencils, candy, etc.  I love those
expo things with all the booths you can walk through!  We actually hit two of them while we were in Richland-- I seriously don't think they ever have stuff like that here in Cleveland.  Maybe they do, and I just don't know about it.
Mother's day was cool because we got to talk to Drew on the phone for a few hours.  He'll be home a month from yesterday, by the way! (July 2) We didn't really have that much to talk about, but it was nice to hear that he still spoke english.
And now, for some random pictures I took that don't have much of a story attached to them:
Megan loved to play Uncle Kyle's "white guitar"

"Mommy, can I have another brownie?"

"Pretty please??"

"What do you mean, 'no'?! I will destroy you!"

Robby coming unglued as grandpa tickles him

Robby got his binky stuck to his cheek

We thought Robby made a very handsome princess

Scary

Scarier

Scariest
(This was Kyle's emo wig... I found it in the bathroom and came down wearing it, then we all took turns)
