This was a tag from facebook, but since I went to the great deal of time and effort to do it, I figured I'd also post it on here. So here you have it, 25 random things about me.
2. I am listening to a Dr. Laura podcast as I write this
3. My windshield wiper fluid sprayer thingy is broken, and I have been procrastinating getting it fixed for 4 months.
4. I make my bed everyday!
5. I haven't left the house today because I am afraid my car will bottom out and get stuck in the snow
6. I always run through the worst case scenarios in my head and come up with plans of action before anything has even happened. Example: if Mike has a late day, and I haven't heard from him I imagine what if he was killed in a car accident, and then I think about who I would call first, what I would do with the kids, where we would live, how I would apply for him to be posthumously awarded his MD, etc.
7. I can't stop kissing and snuzzling my babies AAAALLL day long.
8. I had a double minor: TESOL and Language & Computers
9. I am a reformed packrat
10. I got Megan a dollhouse for her birthday because I wanted to play with it
11. I would eat dessert for every meal of the day, and also for dessert if I wouldn't be serving as a bad example to my kids and giving myself diabetes.
12. I watch movies all the time, but have seen like maybe 5 new releases in the last 3 years.
13. I used to write a humor column for my high school newspaper
14. I look forward to the mail coming everyday even when I'm not expecting anything.
15. Megan and Robby are "folding" my laundry for me right now, and it is really cute.
16. There is a random, creepy, lone toilet stall in our basement with a 1973 calendar on the wall.
17. The closest I came to a full 40-week term with either of my pregnancies was 38 weeks, and I highly recommend it!
18. Sometimes I think it is still 2007
19. When I was in elementary school all the way through college, I had a habit where I would "type" in my mind every word that I hear on tv or in a conversation on some invisible keyboard like I was a court transcriptionist or something. It drove me INSANE and I am glad to say I no longer do it!
20. Megan crawls into bed with us in the middle of the night probably 3 nights out of 7, and she comes into my bed with me to snuggle and wake me up every morning.
21. My wedding ring went missing 2 years ago somewhere in our house, and I still look for it like at least once a week.
22. I like never get offended by things that other people do or say (intentional or not), and I forget that not everyone is the same way as me. And so I am oblivious when it is possible that things I say or do might have offended.
23. I like to watch small claims court shows like Judge Judy
24. About twice a month I look around and freak out about how much clutter we have, and then the rest of the time it doesn't bother me.
25. I have phone-ophobia. I don't like to make phone calls, and I usually have to force myself to answer when it rings (somehow this doesn't apply to my cell phone. I don't get it)!
