We got out first big snow dump of the year yesterday and today... Mike measured it at 9" this afternoon. And yet, it doesn't seem like very much snow. Last year I might have been cursing the skies, but this year all is well! I can think of three reasons: 1) We've dealt with snow twice as deep. 2)I don't have to drive Mike to and from the hospital anymore... so if I don't wanna, I don't have to go anywhere!! 3)Who flippin cares if there's tons of snow? Next year I'll be in Texas! Ooh, and I just thought of a fourth reason. 4) I know that we have plows and salt to make the roads clear to the point of just being wet pavement. And after just seeing how pathetic and paralyzed Portland was by a similar amount of snow, it makes me laugh in derision. Ha ha ha!
I actually might not have even posted about our snow, except for I got some nice pictures of Mike being all manly doing his manly-man work of shoveling the snow, and digging his car out. And those lovely pictures needed a proper setting, so here you have them.

Mike looks more confused with what he should do with the shovel than anything else, heh heh.
