I looked out the window and what did I see?
A layer of ice encapsulating a tree!
Winter had brought me such a chilling surprise,
Limbs a-snapping right before my eyes!
I can break a stick off and make a treat--
a bark popsicle that would taste like feet.
It was really so-- though it should not be,
A layer of ice encapsulating a tree!
The weird thing here, is that this is the only tree anywhere that I can see that has ice on it. I think it is just in the right spot to catch all the little drips off the roof, or something. I thought it was super cool at first because there were all these icicles hanging off of it at 250 degree angles and I'm like "wow! the wind must've really been blowing!!" then I put my thinking cap on and realized that they were probably normal straight up-and-down icicles, but then the tree branch bent under their weight. That makes more sense. And it is less cool. But it still looks really neat!
